Every spiritual path offers guidelines on how to be more compassionate. Our usual response to most forms of unpleasantness is, “How do I avoid it? How can I help those I care about escape it?” However, meditation is a skill-building process that is a beautiful support for other awareness practices and prayer.
If you are a beginner - wanting to learn meditation - this 8-week Meditation for Beginners course is for you! Learn meditation in a few easy-to-do steps. You will be tasked with one meditation exercise per day every week. Also, you will not spend more than 10 minutes a day learning and practising meditation. Over eight weeks, you will learn and practise eight different meditation techniques. These different techniques will resonate more deeply for certain people. Allow yourself to do all techniques, and then decide on your favourite.
